Cleaning Instructions:

• Blot liquid quickly and gently with a clean, dry, absorbent cloth. If liquid remains, continue with gentle blotting. Gently remove any soil or debris from the surface. No rinsing needed.

• If any residual spot remains: Flush liberally with warm water and blot with a clean, dry, absorbent cloth. Change blotting cloth surface frequently, until spot is gone. (Avoid brushing which can spread the stain!) Repeat process until spot has been removed. Finish with final warm water rinse and blot.

• Mix 2-3 drops of any mild laundry, detergent with 1 cup of water and apply to soiled area. Gently work solution into the area, wait several seconds and blot the spot with a clean, dry, absorbent cloth.

• Repeat until spot has been completely removed. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and blot to remove any soap residue. (Be thorough here: soap not rinsed away in the fabric can cause a recurring stain!

NANOTEX® by Crypton

Providing superior cleanability and stain resistance, Nanotex is backed by all of Crypton’s patented stain/spill technology and is the perfect performance for spaces and applications where the assurances of a moisture barrier may not be necessary. Think of it as a molecular force field, encapsulating every fiber, preventing stains, and fending off moisture on upholstery, headboards, panel fabric, and cubicle curtains.

Cleaning Instructions:

Clean liquid spills quickly with a clean, dry cloth: For liquid spills, gently blot (don’t rub) spill immediately with an absorbent cloth while spill is still fresh. Wipe off with clean water and a clean, dry cloth if needed.

For semi-solid spills, try to lift the spot off of the fabric: Working in a circular motion or removing the spill from the side is often the best means to lift spills from the fabric. Change towel surface frequently until spot has been transferred off of the fabric and onto the absorbent cleaning cloth. Wipe off with clean water and a clean, dry cloth if needed.

For semi-solid spills, try to lift the spot off of the fabric: If a spill does not come off with water and a clean, dry cloth, add a mild detergent mixed with water and repeat circular motion. Mild detergents such as Sport Wash, Tide Free, or Cheer Free work best. If a stain remains, a solvent may be needed to remove the stubborn stain. It is recommended to use odorless mineral spirits, dry cleaning fluid such as perchloroethylene or Fantastik® Orange Action All Purpose Cleaner. Wipe off with water and a dry clean cloth. Do not rub harshly. The harder you rub when cleaning a spill, the deeper the soil can be pushed into the fibers. Remove all soap or cleaning agent residue from the surface with clean water.

Crypton®

Crypton is an engineered textile made with pre-tested and approved fabrics with specific fiber and construction requirements to ensure the name Crypton means consistent performance. Cleaning Instructions:

Spot Cleaning:

1. Before spot cleaning, blot up liquids on the surface with a clean, soft towel and brush off any loose dirt.

2. Prepare a cleaning solution of 1/4 tsp mild, enzyme detergent, such as Tide^®, Woolite^® or Dawn^® dishwashing liquid, per 1 cup of lukewarm water.

3. Apply the cleaning solution using a misting spray bottle. Do NOT oversaturate when applying the cleaning solution.

4. Work the solution into the affected area by lightly scrubbing the area with a sponge or soft bristle brush. Make sure to work from the outside of the stain inward so as not to spread the stain and rinse your sponge or brush frequently.

5. Allow cleaning solution to soak into the fabric.

6. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residues, as residues will attract dirt. Blot excess moisture with a clean, soft towel or sponge.

7. Repeat steps 3-6 as needed.

8. Allow fabric to air dry.

Extraction Cleaning:

1. Before extraction cleaning ensure all spots or spills have been cleaned by following the spot cleaning steps above.

2. Wet-vacuum or blot excess moisture with a clean, soft towel (this is if you had to perform any spot cleaning prior). Follow directions on filling your extracting machine (we recommend only hot water, no cleaning solution as soap can attract more dirt over time).

3. Place the nozzle on the upholstery, and slowly and evenly suction off the moisture.

4. Always wet connected upholstered surfaces completely with water to avoid water marks during drying.

5. Repeat the procedure until you can no longer extract any dirt from the fabric.

6. If you need to, rinse once or twice with clear water 

7. Allow ample time for upholstery to dry

8. Thoroughly vacuum again once dry, ideally the next day.

Unbranded Finish

In addition to the branded finishes listed above, LebaTex offers fabrics with unbranded finishes as well. This is typically denoted with "Performance Finish." These unbranded finishes are comparable to Alta™ or Nanotex™ stain treatments and have been tested similarly.

Cleaning Instructions:

Spot clean only with water-based shampoo or foam upholstery cleaner. Pretest a small, inconspicuous area before proceeding. Do not over wet. Do not use solvents to spot clean.
